Our lovely true fan Ben Blake @drawcoffee drew us an amazing Craft Coffee doodle back in January and it inspired us to experiment with our own coffee doodles… Here, little Augie, from Augie’s Coffee Roasters, is headed his way from California to New York to drop of all the delicious coffee that went into your boxes for this month. We reaaaally want to see what kind of doodles and...

Something Simply Wonderful
Yesterday, Laura Schwecherl and Kate Morin from Greatist.com came over to experience our coffee evaluation first hand and learn more about what we do at Craft Coffee. We’re really excited that Laura decided to write this great blog post about us! Take a look: “But beyond the coffee, their story is what inspired me to write this post. Because more so than the taste or the fact that it...

A Craft Coffee.  Our tasters get so excited and write out some great comments in our cupping notes. This one got an Ef! And if you’re a subscriber, it’s headed your way as we speak!

Boxes of coffee towering over our desks here at the office means that our March Box is headed to subscribers soon!  As much as we can’t wait to send you our new coffees, we are also sad to graduate our three coffees from Fourbarrel, JJ Bean and Kickapoo. Tasting Notes brought to Life
One of the best parts of working at Craft Coffee is listening as our coffee evaluators tell us what to taste for when we sip a new coffee for the first time.  It takes the written notes one step further and makes them that much easier to internalize.   Here, we tried to translate that experience visually. Try taking a sip of this month’s Papua New Guinea from JJ Bean Coffee Roasters, and...

Celebrate Women
Did you know that International Women’s Day started in Russia in the 1900’s? There, it’s still tradition that the men buy flowers for the women in their lives and celebrate them more than they would on their birthdays!   And by the way, we love flowers too… but some great coffee will make us really happy.. or a juice.. and a cupcake.. Why not celebrate the woman in your...

Coffee all over our To-Do List
We spend a lot of time talking about coffee, making coffee, drinking coffee and sending people coffee.  Today coffee makes a very literal guest experience on our to-do list.  Our resident coffee expert stopped by the desk to point how beautifully and evenly  these beans are roasted, we’ll see how it fairs on the tasting table!
